$30,000 sign on bonus for experienced Surgical Techs!Hospital for Special Surgery and Stamford Hospital have entered into a unique collaboration to create the premier center for advanced orthopedics in New England. The collaboration includes dedicated orthopedics spaces, including: three inpatient operating rooms with related pre-operative and recovery space and 19 inpatient beds in the new Stamford Health hospital tower, with the opportunity for expansion.HSS is the world's largest academic medical center focused on musculoskeletal health and ranked the #1 hospital for orthopedics according to U.S News & World Report (2015-16). Shifts rotate between 7a-5p & 9a-7p. No weekends/holidays/call.#ST123The ideal candidate must have:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredCertified Surgical Technologist from NBSTSA requiredMinimum of 2 years of working Surgical Technologist experience required in the area of Orthopedics at a hospital/healthcare settingMaintains current BLS certification requiredAbility to communicate effectively with operating room staff, patients, their family members and other health care personnel
