Job Description:
A company is looking for a Charge Review/CPC Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and coordinate audits of physician documentation in medical
records to ensure compliance
Verify, create, and send claims to appropriate payers while
resolving assigned claims
Administer corrective action plans and provide education regarding
documentation guidelines to providers
Required Qualifications
CPC certification through AAPC (not CPC - A)
High School Diploma
2-3 years of medical record experience in an acute care,
computerized environment
1-2 years of demonstrated coding experience
Knowledge of ICD-10CM, HCPCS, and applicable DRG grouper coding
schemes
