Job Title: Registered Nurse - First Assist Job Specialty: Operating Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 3-5 years current OR RNFA experience License: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) required Certifications: State Licenses Must-Have: - Experience in General, Ortho, Neuro, Urology, Vascular, and Bariatric Surgical procedures - Proficiency with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred - Own vehicle for commuting Job Description: - Provide first assist support for surgical procedures in the operating room - Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Adhere to facility protocols and maintain a sterile environment - Participate in the on-call rotation and weekend shifts as required - Complete 8-hour non-billable orientation - Dress in facility-provided scrubs - Maintain effective communication with staff, patients, and families - Ensure compliance with all state and facility requirements Note: - Temporary nursing service agency license must be submitted for consideration - Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - Requests for time off must be noted and verified upon profile submission, with no more than 5 days accepted
