Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Wound Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 8x5 - 08AM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years current wound care experience in acute care settings preferred License: State License required Certifications: Certified Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification required Must-Have: - Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred - Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment - COVID vaccination required (dose date on or after October 3, 2023). Exemption forms are available, requiring signatures. If approved, mask-wearing on site is mandatory. - Interview availability: At least two specific interview dates/times must be provided. "Anytime" will not be accepted. - Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable. Job Description: - Provide specialized wound care to patients using clinical expertise and knowledge. - Conduct detailed assessments and develop care plans for wound management. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Educate patients and caregivers on wound care best practices. - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care. - Support the medical-surgical unit with wound care expertise as needed. - Participation in holiday coverage if scheduled. - Adhere to organizational policies regarding safety and procedures. Note: Local candidates (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered for this position.
