Job Description:

Department/Unit: Surgical Care Work Shift: Weekend Night Job Description Summary Responsibilities:

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and procedures
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care
  • Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing Minimum Qualifications:
    • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
    • Current RN license
    • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
    • Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills Thank you for your interest!
